I know a person whom I believe is a good example of a global citizen. He is a friend of mine and our Canadian high school classmate who is South Korean. I’ll tell you why I chose him as a global citizen. Basically, most people around the world rely on only their home country to do anything. However, he has views from all over the world. He lives in Canada alone and has a plan to graduate high school there and go to a university in Japan or Germany. However, it’s no problem for him to do that because he speaks German, Japanese, English, French and Korean. Therefore, he speaks five languages and can interact with those countries’ people really well. He knows almost everything about countries which he is interested in. There’s one more thing which shows he is such an amazing example of a global citizen. It is that he interacts with people from all over the world at the school, and when he talks to any International students, he learns about some phrases of their mother languages and more things such as geography or culture or mind about the countries from them.
