I think Nelson Mandela is a good example of a global citizen. He is a South African anti-apartheid activist, politician, and statesman who served as the first president of South Africa. He made an effort to solve the racism and made the African National Congress(ANC). He also served as the president of this organization. He did the non-violent movement against the goverment’s racist policy. Because of this, he went to the jail for 27 year. But he became a symbolic presence of the global human rights. he made an effort to improve human right in his whole life. So that’s why I pick him as a good example of a global citizen.
